Who handles your data?
STEINBERG LTD operates nlnamen.nl and is responsible for the personal data it processes to provide its services. Our company address is 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom; company number 17242845. Use the contact page for the active privacy contact.
Data and purpose
We use account email, domain-holder and billing details, order information and service settings to perform your contract, register domains, provide access and manage support. Necessary security data helps prevent abuse. Legally required administration is retained to meet applicable obligations. Card details are sent directly to Stripe through its secure fields and are not stored by this application.
Service providers and registries
Cloudflare hosts the application and database. Openprovider and the relevant registry process registration data. Openprovider hosts any purchased business mailbox and its email messages. ClouDNS processes DNS configuration. Stripe processes payments and any enabled email subscription. SiteGround SMTP sends sign-in links and service messages. A mailbox password is transmitted securely to Openprovider when you set it; this application does not retain or email it. Providers may process information in different countries; applicable transfer safeguards and contractual arrangements must be maintained.
Storage, cookies and AI suggestions
The site stores domain and mailbox-name choices in local storage to preserve your cart. An essential secure session cookie supports sign-in. Sign-in tokens expire after 15 minutes and sessions after seven days. No advertising trackers are installed by default. When enabled, naming descriptions are sent to Cloudflare AI; do not enter personal or confidential information in that field. Domain suggestions are not availability guarantees.
Retention and your rights
We retain service information while needed for the contract, dispute handling and applicable administration requirements. Security rate-limit records are short-lived. You can request access, correction or deletion, and other applicable rights, through our contact channel. Some registration and billing records may need to remain for legal or registry obligations. You may complain to the relevant data protection authority.
